Beach Hive

We had 4 families, 15 people stay at the beach hive. 6 adults, and 9 kids ranging from 9 yo to 22yo. When we arrived the place was beautiful, clean and stocked with all of the appliances, kitchen wear and beach stuff you could ever need! The welcome cooler full of snacks for us, toiletry bags and notes really made it feel like they had it set up just for us! The pool was well maintained and had lots of nice floats for the adults! It was like “hot tub” temp but it was also 95-97• all week. We have stayed in Myrtle Beach for many years, so a lot of the stuff we wanted to do was there, and the only minus was having to drive 45 mins to boardwalk at the beach, outlet malls, restaurants and other activities we love. The beds were pretty comfortable esp compared to other airbnbs we’ve stayed at and had lots of pillows- so many we even had to take a few off bc we didn’t need them! The ice machine in the living room area was really awesome, the elevator was convenient for a few of the adults when we were exhausted. The beach was a short walk and beautiful! If I had to say something that wasn’t perfect it would be that we had only 10 beach towels so not enough for everyone but we also had kids who would use theirs once and throw it somewhere, lol. We also got 2 tickets one night because two of our cars were parked a little too far back “blocking the side walk” There weren’t any signs posted about this and when we tried to despite them they basically said that ignorance is no excuse- so just make sure the cars are parked all the way in… we had the ping pong table set up outside and wouldn’t have done so if we knew this rule. All in all it was one of the best decorated best stocked places we have been to and would 100% return again! Thank you Pier 42 for the wonderful vacation!

My family and good friends were lucky enough to stay at this beautiful home. It truly has everything you could ask for or even think of. The home itself is an open floor plan with lots of room (there was 11 of us) but also very comfortable and cozy. The rooms are very spacious, the bathrooms are all nice and everything is in great condition and clean. The pool was perfect and such a great area for entertaining the kids and relaxing after the beach. We were able to enjoy the pool and maximize the day when the wind was too strong at the beach. It was a great option to have. The home is only a short walk to the beach and a short drive into town. Truly an ideal location. We will always seek out this home for future stays at Ocean Isle! All our years at this beach, there’s no home that compares. We hope to be back!!

Good Morning, Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your Beach Hive property! The house, the pool, the location near the beach and the top deck were all appreciated!

This property was more than we ever expected. Not only were the beds made when we got there but all bedrooms had extra blankets and pillows which we have never had with previous rentals. We also found when we got there that we had access to all kinds of pool floats and toys, beach wagons, boogie boards, bicycles, chairs and a full refrigerator located in the ground floor. We didn’t need to bring anything. The grandkids favorite was the swinging bed on the second floor. The Pier 42 team was outstanding and so easy to work with throughout the whole process. I highly recommend renting this property. Well worth the price!
